Still lots of snow, maybe getting a bit to much out there although it seems to be settling nicely.

Now that’s an ice chart. What a difference a week of sub -30 degree weather does to the big lake.

Thick ice on Black Bay and Mazukama/Kama Bay and expanding and medium ice throughout the area. Bays end even has some thick ice now. 

A nice little warm-up makes for great ice and great fishing, just have a little more snow to content with.

 

 

 

Hows the fishing?

Inland lakes for brook trout, walleye and splake reports are good.

Whitefish on Superior seems to be completely hit or completely miss. 

Lake Trout are picking up. Jesse Lake opens for Lake Trout on February 15th.
