We offer an ice fishing guiding service to inland stocked lakes as well as multiple points on Lake Superior. We set everything up, give instructions and tips on fishing and assist wherever you need assistance. No ice fishing experience is needed!

OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, 24 HOUR BAIT FRIDGE ONSITE!
We are stocked with live minnows as well as preserved baits.
Proven and essential ice fishing tackle is available for purchase in the baitshop.
We carry maps, guidebooks of the area and have additional information on the local areas to fish through the ice.

Thermal Ice Shelter (6-8 person) $100 *

Buddy Heater 4000-9000 BTU $20 + cost of propane
Mister Heater 4000 to 18000 BTU heater $20 + cost of propane

All rentals come with a hand-pulled sled if needed. Small and Medium. Large Snowmachine sled also available.
*Thermal ice tent, power auger, Deeper pro +, requires signing a waiver regarding damage/replacement value and valid credit card number/info.
Setup/Teardown services; We put up tents, heat and drill holes. Preset up for when you arrive, then take it down/pack it all up when you leave.

Skidoo transport to from; Most points are accessible via a short walk on well-packed trails. Snowmachine ferrying is possible depending on the availability of sleds.
Guide (includes setup/teardown); $100 per half-day (morning or evening); (approximately 4 hours)

Ice fishing hotspots
Stocked Lakes
There are dozens of smaller lakes that have been stocked with Brook Trout and Splake. These lakes are usually a little off the beaten track and offer some great fishing especially in the winter through the ice. Stocked lakes have no closed seasons.

Kama Bay Lake Superior
20km minutes east of Nipigon is Kama hill and Kama cliffs which overlook Kama Bay. This is a hotspot for whitefish, rainbow, Lake Cisco and Lake Trout fishing through the ice on Lake Superior. Relativity easy to get to via a packed trail or snow machine. Access is via an un-maintained access road as per map.

Perch Point Nipigon Bay
Large Jumbo Perch that make Black Bays Perch look like babies. A little harder to find sometimes but worth it when you do.
Access via Ruby Lake road – Snowmachine trail from the railroad tracks out Ruby Creek.
Access also from approximately 1km east of Jackfish river on small Railroad crossing/snowmachine trail out to the lake.

Gravel River / Nipigon Bay
Black Bay
Jumbo Perch are the species most commonly caught through the ice on Black Bay.
Access is via Hurkett Cove and follow the snowmachine trail out onto the Bay.
Male Lake - Stocked
Jesse Lake
Jesse Lake located on Cameron Falls road is an easy walkout location. Part of the Nipigon River, Jesse lake offers a great Lake Trout, Whitefish and Burbot fishing. Shortened season for Ice fishing but well worth the trip.
